In 2007, Gryphon formed a JV with the management team of a leading
construction group with a plan to build and operate a $150m cement plant.
As well as the transaction idea, Gryphon has contributed expertise in
project structuring, introductions to industrial consultants, legal counsel and
equipment suppliers, and capital to fund initial studies and licence
acquisitions. Gryphon initiates around half its projects, linking proven
concepts from western markets with local entrepreneurs. |
